Shay Mitchell has been a Canadian model, actress, and businesswoman for more than 10 years. She is best known as Emily Fields from the Freeform television series Pretty Little Liars. Shay Lo became a popular nickname in the eyes of Jennifer Lopez Mitchell fans. When she was a young girl, she developed a love for the performing arts and discussed with her parents the possibility of pursuing a career. Her acting capabilities improved when she was a pro in dance and modelling. After securing a few commercials as well as guest roles on the television show Mitchell received her first big break when she was cast to play the role of Emily Fields in Pretty Little Liars.
